Ensign is best described as an integrated energy drilling contractor,
specialising in all types of drilling services including the drilling for oil, gas, geothermal energy
and coal seam methane gas.
In the past Ensign has successfully drilled technically advanced high pressure / high temperature wells
with wellbore pressures approaching the lithostatic gradient of 19.5 ppg.
Geothermal drilling programs have been performed in New Zealand, Philippines and Indonesia.
Ensign has a number of personnel with extensive experience in this specialised field of operations.
Ensign has entered into and worked many different types of contracts with different operators including;
- dayrate, modified turnkey, full turnkey, modified footage, alliancing, and incentive.
